Position Responsibilities
Tamarack is seeking an Engagement Manager to play a pivotal role in our growth story. This position will be accountable for leading client engagements, managing a team of consultants, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement in how we exceed our clients' needs. Your core responsibilities will include:
Manage Client Relationships
- Serve as the primary point of contact for our key clients
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients
- Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges, proactively addressing them throughout the engagement
Oversee Team Management, Development, and Performance
- Personnel management of the seasoned consultants within professional services, fostering a culture of excellence and open communication
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of client engagements and team performance
- Regularly analyze and report on KPIs to track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Advance the project delivery model to enhance efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness
Contract for Project Extensions and Expansion
- Contract for Project Extensions and Expansion
- Facilitate the contracting process for client projects, including drafting statements of work

You’re a great match if you have the following:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in consulting and team / project leadership roles
- Equipment Finance Industry: Exposure to the equipment finance industry and related technologies and business processes
- People Management: Strong leadership skills with a history of successfully managing, developing, and improving team performance
- Customer Focused: Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences and driving long-term customer success
- Client Success: Demonstrated ability to drive client satisfaction, retention, and expansion through strategic account planning and proactive relationship management. Proven track record of managing and growing client relationships
- Contracting Process Support: Experience in contract negotiations and drafting statements of work for project extensions and expansions
- Self-Starter: Extreme comfort as a self-starter, capable of thriving in a startup culture with minimal supervision
- Approach: Enthusiastic, sincere, and enjoyable to work with, fostering a positive work environment
- Communication Skills: Comfortable communicating to project stakeholders and leadership concisely, including external customers, and internal stakeholders
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in management information systems, business administration, or a related field is required, and an MBA is considered a plus
