Earlier this year, Tamarack proudly welcomed Anthony Cushion as our newest project manager. In this role, Anthony leads complex implementations and cross-functional projects, applying Agile best practices to consistently deliver innovative solutions and outstanding service to our clients. Outside the office, Anthony holds a diverse range of interests and experiences—but one constant remains: his unwavering loyalty to Chicago sports teams.
What do you enjoy the most about your role at Tamarack?
My favorite thing about working at Tamarack is the people. Everyone is eager to help and so friendly! As a project manager, I also really enjoy having the opportunity to work with different teams across the organization, along with our customers.
Tell us about your family?
I married my wonderful wife Erica on July 13, 2022. We currently have two cats we’ve named Porti and Garfield.
Where do you call home?
Right now, I consider my “home state” to be Texas, where I’ve lived for the last two years. Before that, I grew up in and lived outside of Chicago for more than 30 years. My family (parents and older brother) still live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Despite living in Texas, my allegiance is still to my beloved Chicago sports teams—Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks and White Sox.

What are your hobbies?
I like to keep busy. I am an avid golfer, so, living in Texas, I can golf year-round. One of my bucket list items is to visit Augusta National Golf Club and watch a round of the Masters. I also enjoy working out (lifting weights and playing basketball), as well as playing video games and watching documentaries.
What is something that we’d be surprised to know about you?
While I was in college at DePaul University (Go Blue Demons!), I used to host an hourlong radio show and did play-by-play for the basketball, softball and volleyball teams. During college, I also interned with WGN Radio where I assisted with the production of Cubs and Blackhawks games.
