Each year on Veterans Day, we honor all those who have served and even given their lives for this country. Please join us in recognizing the significance of their sacrifices.
Many of our team members have family who are veterans. This year, we’d like to honor Staff Sgt. (E-6) Robert Harris, son-in-law of Timothy Appleget, director of SaaS products at Tamarack. Few airmen have followed a path as diverse as Robert’s—rising from airborne linguist to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear noncommissioned officer and serving in both active duty and the Air National Guard.
During Robert’s career in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard, he has served in a range of operational and leadership roles. Enlisting in 2006 as an airborne linguist specializing in Persian Dari/Farsi, Robert supported intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations during deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq in 2010 and 2011. Upon returning from deployment, he joined the Air Force Honor Guard as a flight sergeant, where he was responsible for training and ceremonial duties.
After leaving active duty in 2012, Robert continued his service by joining the Minnesota Air National Guard in 2021 as part of the commander support staff for the 133rd Operations Group. In 2023, he transitioned to the 55th Civil Support Team, where he currently serves as a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear noncommissioned officer.
