What is your role with Tamarack?
My role with Tamarack is in business development and operations. Partnering closely with our sales and marketing team, I focus on identifying organizations that can benefit from Tamarack’s SaaS and service offerings. I am responsible for prospecting, outreach planning and execution, sales support, building and managing pipeline, CRM management, and cross-functional collaboration within the company.
What brought you to Tamarack?
I was recommended to the Tamarack team primarily because of my background in business development and my experience in automation and AI. The opportunity to contribute to a dynamic company in the equipment finance industry intrigued me. Surprisingly, prior to learning about Tamarack, I had never considered this industry, let alone realized its significant impact as a trillion-dollar sector. The chance to explore and innovate within this space, coupled with the company's reputation, made joining the team an exciting prospect for me.
Tell us about your family.
I met my husband in 2013, and together we have two boys, Jaxon and Donovan. We also share our home with our rescue dog, Nala. My husband serves in the Army and is stationed at Fort Liberty, North Carolina. We reside in a charming neighboring town of Southern Pines and absolutely adore our tight-knit community. Our extended family lives close by in Charlotte, so we cherish the time spent with friends, grandparents and cousins whenever possible. Our boys are wild and rambunctious, keeping us on our toes. We know they’re only young once, so I wouldn’t change a thing.
What are your favorite things about North Carolina?
North Carolina will always hold a special place in my heart, regardless of where the Army sends us. I was born here and spent the first 25 years of my life in this beautiful state. I love that the Army brought us back here twice, allowing my boys to experience the place where their parents grew up. North Carolina remains home for our extended family, so that's the reason we'll always visit, no matter where we are.
What is something that we’d be surprised to know about you?
I've moved a total of five times since 2018. Due to my spouse's service in the Army, we've been relocated to Georgia, Texas, Kansas and North Carolina—twice. However, this time we're fortunate to have the opportunity to stay for a while.
What are your hobbies?
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the greenways and paths in and around my neighborhood. Whenever I can, I like to go for a run or long walk while listening to audiobooks or podcasts. I'm typically drawn to true crime content, though I make sure to keep just one AirPod in, so I’m aware of my surroundings
What is something on your “bucket list”?
Skydiving! My mom's fear of heights, flights and anything off the ground meant I never flew myself. I used to joke that my first plane ride would involve jumping out of it—imagine the story. Despite finally taking my first flight at 22 and becoming a frequent flyer since then, skydiving remains unticked on my bucket list.
