Tamarack’s Corey Ashline embraces life with an adventurer’s heart full of vigor and passion. As a senior account executive, he takes a comprehensive approach to the sales process encompassing both product and professional services pipelines, with a particular emphasis on the product side. He shepherds clients through the entire process from inception to culmination. When he isn’t connecting equipment finance companies with solutions to address their business needs, Corey fills his life with family and friends and experiencing life to the fullest. A self-professed thrill seeker, Corey can be found skiing and biking Washington’s Cascade and Olympic Mountain ranges.
What is your favorite thing about working at Tamarack?
Several aspects make my work at Tamarack truly fulfilling. Foremost among these is the remarkable team culture; the people are not only brilliant and driven but also extremely friendly, fostering an environment that is both productive and enjoyable. Additionally, the innovative spirit pervading our product development team ensures that we can offer clients customized solutions and continually push the boundaries of what's possible with our product suite. It's invigorating to introduce clients to cutting-edge products they may not have encountered elsewhere and witness the transformative insights these platforms can provide. Moreover, Tamarack affords me the creative freedom to apply proven sales tactics in novel ways, tailored specifically to the unique demands of the equipment finance industry, which adds a layer of fulfillment to my role that I haven't experienced elsewhere.
Where do you call home?
For the past seven years, I've called the vibrant heart of Seattle my home. However, a recent chapter unfolded as my journey led me to Woodinville, Washington, nestled just across Lake Washington from Seattle and just a few miles north of Bellevue. Embracing this change, I now find myself immersed in the captivating allure of the greater Woodinville area, where a plethora of remarkable outdoor activities await exploration, enriching my days with boundless adventures (like wineries) and natural wonders.
What does life look like for you outside of Tamarack?
My life is enriched by a variety of interests and pursuits. One of my greatest joys is embarking on adventures with my significant other, Danielle, whether it's traversing new destinations or immersing ourselves in the serenity of the outdoors alongside our beloved golden retriever, Riley. Fitness also plays a significant role in my life, as I find fulfillment in diverse activities like weightlifting, CrossFit, running, cycling (particularly through Peloton), and exploring other avenues to stay active. Additionally, I have a penchant for indulging in wine tasting experiences and relishing culinary delights, especially when it comes to discovering new restaurants, particularly those offering delectable sushi. Finally, fostering connections with loved ones remains a cherished priority, as I prioritize visits with family to nurture those bonds and create lasting memories together.
What outdoor activities do you enjoy?
Outdoor adventures fuel my spirit. I have a particular passion for adrenaline-inducing pursuits such as big mountain and backcountry skiing, alongside the exhilarating rush of downhill and enduro mountain biking. I find solace and joy in exploring the serene landscapes of the Cascade and Olympic Mountain ranges, often accompanied by my significant other Danielle and our faithful companion Riley. While in my younger days I delved into competitive freestyle and big mountain skiing, and also was fervently involved in racing motocross and trail riding, my current focus has shifted as I embrace a diverse array of outdoor activities that continue to ignite my adventurous spirit.
Tell us about your family?
My family holds a special place in my heart, comprising individuals who enrich my life in profound ways. My sister, three years my senior, stands as a beacon of success, serving as a vice president of customer success and business development. Watching her flourish in her career while nurturing her own beautiful family, including two young children, fills me with joy, and I relish the opportunity to spoil them on weekends and holidays. Guiding us with unwavering love and support is my mother, a compassionate and accomplished real estate agent based in Washington state, whose presence has been a constant source of strength throughout our lives. Completing my family unit is my beloved partner, Danielle, a remarkable individual whose thoughtfulness, love, insight and strength illuminate my days. Both hailing from California and Washington, Danielle and I share a deep connection, cherishing every moment we spend experiencing life's journey together.
