As Tamarack’s manager of data engineering, Jeremy Fisher leads a small team focused on connecting customer data to our AI products: Data Console, TrailView, and Predictors. What he likes most about being part of the Tamarack team is the company’s collaborative environment that puts the customer’s experience first and allows for wide experimentation and learning toward that goal. Jeremy really enjoys “seeing team members master concepts and take ownership of them.” Outside of the office, he is a man of many interests – from concerts to camping and serving his community.

What is your Tamarack story?

I joined Tamarack in 2022 in order to challenge myself in my career. Developing products requires agility and constant learning, and the role has not disappointed in that regard.

What is your favorite season?

My answer is always winter because I love skiing. But after all the shoveling and darkness last year, I’m reconsidering -- ask me again in the spring.

What does life look like for you outside of Tamarack?

I’ve been married for almost 20 years. I have two boys who are in high school and middle school. We also have a rescue dog, Charlie, who’s part Dachshund, part Yorkie and very demanding of everyone’s love and attention.

What are your favorite things about Minnesota?

Minnesota is my home state. I was raised in Rochester, graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead and now live in the Twin Cities. By far my favorite thing about Minnesota is the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. It is one of my favorite places in the world. Being a two-day paddle away from civilization is a great feeling.

What do you like to do outside of your work for Tamarack?

I love music and attending concerts – I’m pretty sure I’ve been to more than 25 Bob Dylan concerts across the country. I’m an avid reader of genres ranging from literature to pulpy fantasy. I also love camping and being outdoors. As an assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scouts of America Troop 3567 in New Hope, I get to enjoy that with my youngest son.

What is something that we’d be surprised to know about you?

In a past life, I described television for the blind, clarifying visuals during pauses in dialogue. You can hear my voiceover on a wide range of children’s and educational programming.
